Entry and Great Room

with Sunken Bar

As soon as you set foot in the entry foyer you realize that you have come to a special place. You are immediately struck by full-on panoramic views of the Cascade Mountains. They are breathtaking. You also realize that the home exudes a warm and welcoming ambience. The slate and glass tile entry offers another interesting element and texture as you step down into the spacious greeting area across to a large step down bar with a sink and its own refrigerator. The bar features a custom metal bar top by metal artist Milo Lowe. The custom back cabinets are granite topped. The distressed beams in the great room and coffered ceilings in the dining room are contrasted by the sophisticated, elegant Brazilian walnut floors that extend from the great room through the entire space. A temperature controlled wine room adjoins the dining room and is piece of art itself viewed through the full lite door. There are bookend stone fireplaces, one in the great room and one in the dining room each with custom ironwork also by Milo Lowe. The powder room is off the entry. It is stylishly finished with venetian plaster, custom concrete sink, custom woodwork and even a urinal.

The house is ideal for entertaining or just hanging out with the family. Relaxing in front of the fire, watching Netflix in the great room or serving your holiday dinner in the large, formal dining room. Don't forget, every window, and there are lots of them, frame a view of the Cascade Mountains.
